That means strong collaboration skills are going to be a huge differentiator for anyone who wants to grow their career.
The real question is: can we make all this teaming actually feel good?
Like, can intense collaboration actually be fulfilling, and not trigger existential dread over egos, overtalkers, or the one teammate who mysteriously vanishes when shit hits the fan?
Maybe it’s time to retire the term “IC” - individual contributor.
Feels like the future belongs to “TC” - Team Contributors
